Pierre Hardy is a master designer, one who can mix avant-garde and tradition with just enough timelessness. Her discovered shoe-making through dance and movement, his passions: ‘My experience taught me how to add an accessory without restricting the body, so that it literally transforms it’. One cannot forget his drawing style which can be spotted in fashion magazines and in the precious jewellery collections he created for Hermes, a maison for which he has served as Creative Director for women and men shoe collections for 25 years.
His famous Cube Perspective motif has become his signature. A 2D/3D optical illusion, it has had multiple iterations: on fabric or monochrome leather for bags or laying flat on your skin as a bracelet.

He was one of those who invented the charm jewel by working both precious stones and precious metals such as rock crystal, mother-of-pearl or even glass. His baroque or vegetal inspirations, always make the spirit of the House, directed today by Patrick Goossens, his son.
