MEMO

For the creators John and Clara Molloy, fragrance is a journey. Each scent is inspired by a precise place: Lalibela, a holy city in Ethiopia, with hints of rose nacrée , Sundance, Utah’s famous film festival, with notes of tuberose, Inlé, a lake in Burma, smelling of iris, Siwa, an oasis in Egypt, and its heady vanilla…All places are rich with history or a symbol. The brand new perfume, Quartier Latin, is a celebration of our area, a delicate scent with sandalwood, cedrus, clove and bezoin resin, a fragrance for two.

HUGO & VICTOR

Hugues Pouget, former Chef pastry cook at Guy Savoy did not want to sell his cakes the same way as in a simple cake shop. His concept is that around three permanent flavors, chocolate, vanilla and caramel, he adds to his creations seasonal products as combawa, litchi, pineapple, followed in the summertime by strawberry, cherry, peach, apricot, cherry plum or fig from Solliès. So here one will find caramel or exotic fruits mille feuilles, and blood orange cream in his éclair. For each flavor, three specificities : an innovative creation called “Victor”, a more traditional pastry called “Hugo” and to finish a chocolate candy.

EN ATTENDANT LES BARBARES

Born in the late 80s, En Attendant les Barbares is known for being the publisher of the first creations of Elisabeth Garouste and Mattia Bonetti. His approach has always been to try to break down the boundaries between design and decorative art, for example by emphasizing the work of craftsmen. Over time, many designers from different generations and backgrounds have joined the gallery, bringing their touch to the eclecticism that makes its identity, among them Christian Ghion, Arik Lévy, Mark Brazier-Jones, André Dubreuil or Matt Sindall.

HERMES

In the grandiose setting of the former swimming-pool of the Lutetia Hotel, three structures made of wood have been put up. A sort of futurist and mobile cabins now come to modify the rigor of the space by conveying a convivial touch.

Those structures house thematic and temporary spaces in which the “House Art” takes up a lot of room, particularly with the new editions of Jean-Michel Franck’s furniture.
