Yves Gastou is a specialist for furniture and sculpture of the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s. He hunts for, rediscovers all the forgotten designers of those years. He was the one who since 1985 has organized the first exhibitions in France of Ron Arad, Ettore Sottsass or Shiro Kuramata, that he then confronted with the works by older major designers of the 1940s and 1950s as André Arbus, Jacques Adnet, Paul Evans, Gabriella Crespi, Joe Colombo and many others. It is thanks to gallery owners like him that we now enjoy the return of Art Deco in the forefront.
Since 1951, the eponymous brand has been the ultimate reference in silk for home furnishing. It offers fabrics designed, woven and dyed in the purest South-East Asian tradition as well as collaborations with the most notorious designers. This ancestral fabric seemingly never ages and always keeps up with design and trends.

Chahan Minassian is multitalented : he is an interior designer, a designer, an antique dealer and a gallery owner. He has a passion for the American furniture of the 1930s to the 1960s, he presents, in his gallery of the Rue de Lille, pieces by Vladimir Kagan, Paul Evans, Karl Springer, Tommi Parzinger, Paul Laszlo, Philip and Kelvin Laverne, Edward Wormley, Harry Bertoia… and just next to it, he becomes again an interior designer and presents his style for international customers.
She started her career working with the most prestigious American interior designers before joining Jacques Garcia. Having worked on her own for over twenty years now, Florence Lopez is a trendsetter who hunts for furniture everywhere, creates settings, or works on her own creations inspired by the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. She has two ways of showcasing her work : she regularly collaborates with decorators and interior designers and exhibits her own furniture in the middle of the magnificent settings she creates every two years in her studio in Saint¬Germain des Prés.
IBU Gallery is dedicated to IBU’s artworks and her personal artistic choices. An American of Ukrainian descent, artist and architect IBU identified herself by her initials. Her jewelry design and bronze functional sculptures focus on materials, and craftsmanship. IBU died in October 2002, but her work and artistic vision live on at IBU Gallery, located under the arcades of the Palais Royal gardens in Paris. Following her footsteps, IBU Gallery also shows works by artists who share common sensibilities and sources of inspiration. Jewelry designers include Ted Muehling, Gabriella Kiss, Jean Grisoni, Alina Alamoréan. Lee Ufan, Ellen Carey, Lee Bae, Pascal Dombis, Nam Tchun Mo, Antoine Tarot, Kim Chun Hwan, Athéna U. Poilâne are painters, photographers, sculptors IBU Gallery exhibits in conversation with IBU’s creations. Art furniture and art objects by Eric Schmitt, Christophe Côme, Annick Tapernoux, Sebastian Menschhorn have also trusted us with their work. Each artist was chosen for the dialogue their pieces have with IBU’s artwork.

In 2010, Eloïse Gilles and Raphaëlle de Panafieu, both from the world of luxury, fashion and passionate about crafts, decided to revive this original and so chic object that is the fan, by taking over the Maison Duvelleroy created in 1829 by Jean-Pierre Duvelleroy, supplier to Queen Victoria or the Empress of Russia.
Both wish to remain in line with a style and a know-how by preserving gestures – those of the work of the feather in marquetry for example – and shapes, like the so-called “balloon”, slightly rounded, inspired by shells St Jacques which is typical of the Art Nouveau Duvelleroy period. For the creation, they have also returned to the sources of the fan-making profession by calling on Frédéric Gay, who is in charge of assembly and assembly.
They are relaunching couture collections, with creative fans, but also the ready-to-wear fan, as it existed in the 19th century, in cotton and wood, pleated, hand-assembled and produced in small series. They also launched numerous collaborations with artists and designers such as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Lison de Caunes, José Lévy and Victor Cadène.
Gladys Mougins presents artists who explore very different realms : furniture, jewels, elements of decoration such as lacquer or the enamel, designers who like using metals, steel, bronze, in particular André Dubreuil, or Tom Dixon, Laurence Montano, Michael Pohu, Alasdair Cooke and Véronique Rivemale.
