Created in 2008 by Hanane Hilmi and Jean Noël de Soy, IN CAMERA presents devotees to black and white, such as Jane Evelyn Atwood or Stéphane Duroy as well as great colourists such as Bertien van Manen, Julian Germain, Dolorès Marat or Gueorgui Pinkhassov. Those artists are displayed in museums all around the world and in great public and private collections.

Claude-Bernard directed his gallery from 1957 to 2022.. He has been showing contemporary figurative art. Each year, the gallery organizes approximately six exhibitions as well as one retrospective exhibition of artists such as Morandi, Giacometti, Bonnard or Bacon.

Marcel Fleiss opened his gallery in 1972 with an exhibition of forty rayogrammes by his friend Man Ray. With his son David, they mainly dedicate themselves to surrealist works but also to contemporary photography.
Philippe Bismuth worked as a 20th century painting and sculpture expert for ten years before teaming with Vincent Amiaux, a specialist of Cubism to open the gallery in 1998. Works by Giacometti, Foujita, Dubuffet, Lhote, Picabia, Utrillo, Picasso, Warhol and 20th century masters are regularly on show.
Since 1958, the gallery has offered a vast selection of graphic and photographic editions of the greatest figures of the Surrealist movement, namely Hans Bellmer, Giorgio De Chirico, Salvador Dali, Leonor Fini or Wassily Kandinsky. It also exhibits Pre-Columbian art focusing on the cultures from Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

After a career as a lawyer specialising in intellectual property, when he dealt with numerous cases involving major artists, Bruno Sabatier, a former Art publisher and now a gallery owner, focuses almost exclusively on the work of Francis Bacon, whom he met for the first time in 1976. On entering a private art gallery today one generally appreciates, apart from the quality of the works exhibited, the sobriety of the architecture and the neutrality of the space. Thus it is rare for the space itself to make as strong an impression as the works on display. This is the slightly unsettling observation one makes when crossing the threshold of Da-End. The private art gallery opened its doors this summer in Saint-Germain des Prés. (…) composed of three rooms, corridors, alcoves, a few lecterns and easels in which the light and shadows play on the rich colours of the walls. The space is a hidden gem, « halfway between a cabinet of curiosities and a secret abode » explain the gallery owners, the photographer Satoshi Saikusa and his companion Diem Quynh. This is an antechamber of an opium den or a boudoir, both of delights and pain. It is as if the spirit of the Symbolists and the Decadentistes, with Huysman at their head, had finally found a place to rest in Paris. A dwelling « à rebours », where the spirits of Verlaine, Baudelaire, Nerval, Poe and Mallarmé mingle with the contemporary works. Da-End signifies oval in Japanese, a term which evokes the intrauterine world, fantasies and nightmares, ecstasy and suffering. Artificialia, Curiosa, Naturalia, Erotica: it is beyond the boundaries of art and the starting point of a new quest: that of the search for the rare, the bizarre and the precious. Da-End is a marvellous anachronistic place: both dark and brooding where poisonous flowers grow in a greenhouse from which heady fragrances escape.
