BAR JOSEPHINE

A huge marble bar ten meters long under a splendid original fresco by Adrien Karbowsky, here is the original décor of the bar of the Lutetia, which pays tribute to Josephine Baker on a jazz background. Chef Shaker Nicola Battafarano officiates here brilliantly by creating famous cocktails such as the Rive Gauche (vodka, St-Germain, citrus and celery shrub, champagne) or by revisiting all the classics. A very nice place to start the evening.

LE DRAGON

The new address of Cyril Lignac rue du Dragon. A bar as we love them, intimate and warm where you can have a drink before going to dinner or later to go dancing. Designed by Studio KO like all the chef’s other places, you can enjoy new cocktails accompanied by a delicious tarama or a hint of caviar.

RITZ BAR

Less known than its historic neighbor, the Hemingway Bar, the Ritz Bar, with its bistro spirit and its Art Deco-style decor, is undoubtedly more casual and friendly. But it remains a place of insiders, prized at the time of the first cocktails as the one of the last. The various and varied beverages are obviously perfect, like his neighbor, and to accompany them we nibble delicious tapas or dishes to share, with a soundtrack in the background very Ritzy.

Bar du COSTES

Also known as the Chinese Salon, the Bar du Costes has had a spotless reputation for 20 years now. The neo-Baroque decoration by Jacques Garcia and the clientele, a blend of anonymous people, celebrities and a handful of tourists make for a simultaneously muffled and festive atmosphere. A place to both have low-key cocktail evenings with friends and dance to DJ sets.

SILENCIO

Silencio is a one of a kind private club, since it is dedicated to creative communities only. It is a place of exchanges and encounters which claims a filiation with many a place like literary salons, London clubs in the 18th century, [parles-tu du Tabou pour la référence aux existentialistes ?] and a few nightlife landmarks like the Palace and even Studio 54. At last partying and culture are gathered together in one place with this nightly platform for Parisian cultural life, exhibitions and fairs.

Silencio was conceived by David Lynch himself and boasts a photography gallery, a 24-seat movie theater, a library, two bars, one stage and a smoking room.

Members are welcome from Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm for the cultural programme, but the club is also open to all from Tuesday to Thursday from Midnight to 4am, and on Friday and Saturday until 6am.

PRESCRIPTION COCKTAIL CLUB

A very New-Yorkish style for this very pretty club. Divine little alcoholic potions, a couple of writers, pretty germanopratin girls and fashion sub-editors come here to dance and to drink a Mojito. Come on, take a Florida Tarragon or a Mazarini Rosa before going to the Montana to spend the rest of the night with Parisian rebels.
