Le Labo est loin d’être un parfumeur de plus dans le paysage olfactif, car ses créations ne ressemblent vraiment à aucune autres. Les treize parfums de la marque sont composés autour d’une matière première centrale (vétiver, fleur d’oranger, oud, santal, vanille, patchouli, bergamote, tubéreuse, iris, rose, néroli, jasmin…) dont ils portent le nom, qui est toujours suivi d’un nombre, celui des ingrédients présents dans le parfum autour de cette note de tête.
Le Labo crée aussi un parfum exclusif pour chacune des villes où il est présent : New York (Tubéreuse 40), L.A (Musc 25), Tokyo (Gaiac 10), Chicago (Baie Rose 26), Londres (Poivre 23), Dallas (Aldehyde 44) et bien sûr Paris avec Vanille 44, une Vanille d’un raffinement inégalé. La gamme continue aussi avec des huiles et des lotions pour le corps et une collection de bougies coulées à la main pour la Maison qui sont, là encore, des mélanges inédits.
Mais la surprise n’est pas seulement olfactive, puisque vous aurez aussi la chance d’assister presque directement à la création de votre parfum : dans le Labo, on effectue devant vous la dernière étape de création, le mélange de la composition olfactive, de l’alcool et de l’eau pour que votre parfum soit le plus frais possible, avec pour finir une étiquette à votre nom si vous le souhaitez.

The story of Rubelli has been linked to the world of Art for 170 years. This Venitian creator decorated world-famous theatres as the Fenice and museums : the Albertine of Vienna, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, and castles or private houses all over Europe, but also the décors and the costumes of the greatest operas, which has been the passion of this family for five generations. Damask, velvet, silk … here we do not talk of decoration but more of décor.

If you like English literature, the room number 16 where Oscar Wilde lived during a long time will be your place, but you will have many others choices, from Marco Polo to Charles the 10th passing by Mistinguett or Venice and Pondichery. The hotel is most probably one of the most beautiful places of Saint-Germain-des-prés.
For more than eighty years, Nobilis has been editing collections of fabrics and wallpapers created by the greatest designers : Christian Liaigre, Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Eric Valeiro, Robert Le Héros and many others … Denis Halard, its current director, is really close and very sensitive to contemporary art and has artists work on many projects.
Since 1797, Zuber has been printing its wallpapers, its fabrics and its leathers “à la planche”. It is the last factory in the world to use this technique dating back to the 18th century. The factory has preserved all its original plates (which are on the historical register) and continues to use them to create panoramic decors, decorative panels, velvet, organza or silk materials. The themes are numerous : from China to India or Constantinople passing by America or the wonderful floral patterns from 18th century France …
Frey makes fabrics and wallpapers in the purest French tradition. A wide collection of 7000 references which gathers together the creations signed Pierre Frey and those created by three other prestigious brands of the company : Braquenié, Fadini Borghi and Bouassac. Frey is also the story of a passion which has been passed on to three generations : Pierre Frey who created the company in 1935 and soon became the idol of decorators and antique dealers, then his son, Patrick, who has been signing, since 1975, every new model of fabrics looking for inspiration in the spirit of the age, travels, art or History and his two sons, Pierre et Vincent, who have already started taking over from there father.
C’est le royaume de William Ledeuil, l’inventeur de la Fusion Food. Ce chef reconnu, qui aime bousculer tous nos repères gustatifs en créant des associations géniales et uniques, sans utiliser de sel, de farine ou de beurre comme dans la cuisine traditionnelle. Yuzu, gingembre, goyave, citronnelle, sésame, wasabi deviennent les condiments qui font exploser sous nos palais toutes les saveurs de cette gastronomie sans nationalité. Vraiment unique.
Spécialisé dans le design du 20ème siècle, André Hayat présente des pièces d’André Arbus, Jacques Leleu, Jean Royère, Maurice Dufrène, Jean Prouvé et Mathieu Matégot, mais développe aussi une collection exclusive en faisant travailler de jeunes designers sur le Miroir avec de nouvelles matières, de nouvelles formes et des savoir-faire oubliés dans le domaine du verre.
